Terms of Usage

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Rare Breed Games websites and related services, including Dog Breeder Game, Reptile Breeder Game, Dragon Breeder, and Horse Breeder (Alpha) ("Services"). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Safety, Conduct & Abuse

We aim to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment, but we cannot guarantee that all user-generated content will comply with these Terms. Some content may be inappropriate or objectionable. If you experience harassment, offensive behaviour, or unwanted communication, you should report it immediately. If issues persist or you are uncomfortable with the environment, you must stop using the Services.

You must not exploit, disrupt, or interfere with the Services. Any discovered exploit must be reported to administration. Cheating or abuse may result in corrective action, including account rollback, penalties, or termination.

2. Age Requirements

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. Users under 18 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. We may terminate accounts if we believe such consent was not provided or if age was misrepresented.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must keep your password confidential and never share it. Attempting to obtain or use another user's password is prohibited.

A valid email address that you own must be used during registration. Accounts with invalid or unowned email addresses may be suspended or deleted.

Usernames, descriptions, and uploaded images must not contain offensive or inappropriate content. We may remove or modify such content at our discretion.

During investigations into fraud, abuse, or security concerns, senior administration may review account activity and normally-private content where necessary to protect the platform and enforce these Terms.

4. Digital Assets & Licensing

All digital content within the Services—including dogs, reptiles, dragons, horses, items, currency, artwork, genetics, stats, and game mechanics—is licensed, not sold. You acknowledge that:

• You do not own any digital asset within the Services.
• Digital assets have no real-world monetary value.
• Rare Breed Games retains full ownership of all digital content.
• We may modify, reset, adjust, or remove digital assets at any time for gameplay balance, technical reasons, or policy enforcement.
• You may not sell, purchase, trade, or transfer accounts or digital goods for real-world money without explicit written permission.

5. Multiple Accounts

Creating more than one account is strictly prohibited unless explicitly approved by Rare Breed Games. This includes “friend” accounts used to transfer currency, tokens, or items, or accounts used for storage. All such accounts may be terminated.

Temporary or new accounts created to bypass a suspension or termination are also prohibited.

Family Accounts

Multiple accounts within the same household may be allowed only with prior staff approval and verification. Suspicious activity may result in permanent bans. Activity between family accounts is strictly limited.

6. Service Changes & Indemnity

We may modify, update, or discontinue the Services at any time. You agree to indemnify Rare Breed Games for any misuse of your account, including administrative or legal costs.

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support.

7. Complaints & Staff Communications

Support tickets are handled individually; outcomes may differ between users. You may not publish private communications with staff without explicit permission. Violations may result in account termination.

8. Liability

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free service. Rare Breed Games is not liable for:

• data loss
• digital asset loss
• gameplay resets
• downtime or maintenance
• indirect or consequential damages
• user misconduct

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is unlawful (e.g., fraud, personal injury caused by negligence).

9. Chat, Shoutbox & Community Conduct

You may not abuse chat features, including spamming, trolling, profanity, or attempts to bypass the censor system. Only basic HTML (bold, italics, links) is permitted. No programming code is allowed.

Shoutbox bans typically begin at 24 hours; severe violations may result in permanent bans.

Prohibited Public Topics

• Dog fighting
• Dog attacks
• Politics
• Suicide
• Sexual content

10. Donations & Virtual Currency

Tokens are virtual items owned by Rare Breed Games. Donations via PayPal or Stripe provide Tokens but are non-refundable, including if your account is banned.

Chargebacks or payment disputes may result in permanent banning of your account, IP address, and any future accounts, and removal of purchased benefits.

In-game purchases made with Tokens or game currency are non-refundable. Bonus items (“freebies”) may take up to 24 hours to be delivered.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland and, where applicable, the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Scotland.

12. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through an in-account notice or email. Continued use of the Services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
